The context:

An international dating application hosted on-premises by JaguarNetwork for over 5 years. The customer wanted to migrate the infrastructure and entire application to AWS to address scalability and GSLB (Global Server Load Balancing) issues.

Problem solving approach:

  • Technical audit of existing architecture with a view to moving to managed services

  • Design of a target distributed architecture hosted on AWS and a migration flowchart in line with the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)

  • Deploy the AWS infrastructure code using Terraform

  • Worked with development teams to redesign and integrate code on the new infrastructure according to new rules and practices

  • Documentation and IS audit report highlighting strengths and weaknesses and reporting on current state, areas for improvement and priorities.

Result:

Migration validated by the customer, delivery of the platform accompanied by a cloud infrastructure conducive to facilities management controlled by the customer and its technical partners.
