CLOUD/ NETWORK/ SYSTEM:
International start-up, dating application
01
The context:
An international dating application hosted on-premises by JaguarNetwork for over 5 years. The customer wanted to migrate the infrastructure and entire application to AWS to address scalability and GSLB (Global Server Load Balancing) issues.
02
Problem solving approach:
-
Technical audit of existing architecture with a view to moving to managed services
-
Design of a target distributed architecture hosted on AWS and a migration flowchart in line with the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
-
Deploy the AWS infrastructure code using Terraform
-
Worked with development teams to redesign and integrate code on the new infrastructure according to new rules and practices
-
Documentation and IS audit report highlighting strengths and weaknesses and reporting on current state, areas for improvement and priorities.
03
Result:
Migration validated by the customer, delivery of the platform accompanied by a cloud infrastructure conducive to facilities management controlled by the customer and its technical partners.
